Pacific Islands Club Saipan patrocina a Saipan para unirse al ICTP

Escrito por editor

El Consejo Internacional de Socios de Turismo (ICTP) agregó hoy a Saipan como miembro de destino.

The International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP) today added Saipan as a destination member. Saipan’s membership is sponsored by the Pacific Island Club Saipan (PIC), working from the premise that leadership is a major contributor of the tourism industry in the region.

ICTP chairman Juergen Thomas Steinmetz said: “Saipan relies on tourism revenue, and this US territory is uniquely located to attract an increasing number of tourists from East Russia, China, Japan, and Korea. We’re excited to welcome the Pacific Island Club as a new member, and will be taking their material to the Leisure Travel Show in Moscow next month. With ICTP, Saipan will get access to new global secondary and primary tourism markets.”

ICTP (International Council of Tourism Partners) is a new global alliance to support and promote destinations with a shared belief in well-managed travel and tourism as a driver of community business, jobs, well being, and happiness. Membership is open to any country, city, or community that aspires to be a top travel and tourism destination and engages their stakeholders in the process. Affiliated membership is open to global tourism stakeholders and tourism professionals in member regions. The alliance is about sharing resources and increasing business for a destination in:

– opening up and maintaining new markets for a destination;
– sharing resources to reach out to primary and secondary markets; and
– sharing resources to reach out to global media, trade, and consumers.

ICTP is committed to quality in all aspects of destination management and marketing, and green growth that promotes low-carbon and environmentally-sound development.

Well, Saipan, one of the fifteen isles of the Northern Mariana Islands is noted in the Guinness Book of World Records as having the most temperate climate, so it is typically a pleasant 88 degrees with a chance of tropical showers year-round. Another exclusive highlight is its proximity to the infamous Marianas Trench, just east of the Mariana Islands, which at 6.78 miles deep, is considered to be the deepest part of the world’s oceans.
