Inauguración de un hub de innovación turística, etapa final del 1er UNWTO Tourism Startup Competition, la décima edición del Foro de Negocios e Inversiones Turísticas para África, que comprenderá el éxito del turismo asiático: estas serán algunas de las actividades dirigidas por la Organización Mundial del Turismo (UNWTO) durante la 39ª edición de la Feria Internacional de Turismo de Madrid (FITUR, 23-27 de enero), la primera de las grandes citas turísticas anuales del mundo.
Una nueva actividad de este año es la inauguración de un centro mundial de innovación turística, destacando la UNWTOEl papel y el compromiso de 's con la innovación. Además, la entrega de premios del 1er. UNWTO Tourism Startup Competition se realizará en alianza con Globalia, el grupo turístico líder en España y Latinoamérica. Este concurso, la primera y mayor iniciativa de este tipo en el mundo, tiene como objetivo identificar las nuevas empresas que liderarán la transformación del sector turístico y la promoción de ecosistemas de innovación a través del turismo.
Celebrando su décima edición, el Foro de Inversiones y Negocios Turísticos para África (INVESTOUR) se consolida como el evento anual que reúne a numerosos ministros de turismo de la región e inversores para debatir sobre las oportunidades que el sector puede ofrecer al continente. Organizado conjuntamente por el UNWTO, FITUR y Casa África, las sesiones de este año se estructurarán en torno a dos temas principales: “Viajes seguros y fluidos en África: fomentando la resiliencia y la gestión de riesgos en el sector turístico” y “Adoptando la transformación digital, la innovación y la promoción de productos turísticos de nicho”.
