Recording monthly passenger growth in September, Budapest Airport is firmly on the road to reach the definitive 10 million mark in 2015. The airport has also received 14 new links during the summer season – among them direct routes to Beijing, Toronto and Montréal.

Continuing to develop its route network, the Hungarian gateway has launched W15/16 by celebrating two new routes in the first week, from its two largest airlines: home-based Wizz Air’s twice-weekly service to Tenerife South; and Europe’s largest low-cost carrier, Ryanair’s daily flight to Copenhagen.
